IIM Rohtak provides a Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPx) that is also a 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Also, they want to continue working and studying at the same time. The course is held in hybrid mode where there are online modules consisting of classes that are held virtually. While in offline mode, an on-campus immersion is held that consists of a 4-day campus visit per term. The student gets exposed to campus facilities and classroom experience. The programme fee for the PGPx course is INR 6.95 Lakhs.

This course is also meant to incorporate students from GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries as the member’s economies are rising with its current goals in advancing their healthcare policy, blockchain technology, entrepreneurship, and green energy.

For the Executive MBA (PGPx) course at IIM Rohtak, the institute has its own set of examination and evaluation patterns. The forms of evaluation that are held are end-term examinations, class participation, quizzes, live projects, case study discussions, assignments, online assessments, and final exams. The end-term examinations are those examinations that are held at the end of each term to test the knowledge of the complete subject taught in the term. Also, the end-term examinations are held online. Then there is class participation, where the student’s involvement in the class is evaluated through the student’s questions/doubts, opinions, replied answers, and sharing of ideas.

In quizzes, the students are asked subject-relevant questions that cover at least the essentials. Quiz evaluations happen by evaluating which students are giving responses and which ones are not, enabling the faculty to test out the crowd’s subject knowledge. In live projects, one gets to create/ discover/ research ideas by applying concepts and theories toward fresh creation/ discovery /findings. Another method of evaluation is through the student’s understanding and discussing several aspects of the case study such as the execution, idea, and lessons learned. In assignments, the student’s understanding of a given topic is tested in which the student expresses the learnings and perspectives obtained from the topic. Then there are online assessments in which the student’s knowledge is assessed.

Under the Executive MBA (PGPx) programme, the placement record is worth being a part of as it is a proud endeavour for IIM Rohtak. Some of the several companies that partnered with the institute during the placement event were Amul, Anand, Mother Dairy, Mahindra, Kotak, Cafe Coffee Day, Dell, etc. The highest placement achieved by the batch was around CTC INR 47-49 LPA. The average placement of the batch was around CTC INR 18-20 LPA. The median placement of the batch was around CTC INR 16-18 LPA.
