In the Shanghai Rankings (Academic Ranking of World Universities), it is ranked in the 900–1000th position. It has various disciplines offered through departments like the Faculty of Science, Technology & Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, and the Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. It has collaborated with more than 250 international projects.  As per the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, the University got an A++ grade and a CGPA of 3.65 on a four-point scale. The Institute is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India. Also, it is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), GOI. The Knowledge & Human Development Authority, Government of Dubai, also permits it.
