3) B.Tech for Working Professionals  

B.Tech for Working Professionals is also an undergraduate degree program for employed candidates who started their jobs just after completing the polytechnic diploma in engineering. They have a diploma certificate but not a graduation degree. This program permits professionals to learn advanced skills by attending evening classes, weekend workshops, and online learning.

4) B.Tech After Diploma (Lateral Entry)

B.Tech Lateral Entry is another route to get an undergraduate B Tech degree to those who are unable to apply for the Regular BTech Program. Different universities or colleges offer B.Tech Lateral Entry programs.

The benefit for students enrolling for the BTech Lateral Entry is to get admission directly in the 2nd year of the BTech Regular as they have studied the basics of engineering in their Polytechnic diploma courses.

5) B.Tech Flexible Time 

As per the guidelines of the University Grant Commission, the B.Tech program is a technical course that applies a scientific approach to learning and understanding the skills. Therefore, unlike other undergraduate programs distance education mode isn’t available for students to pursue the Bachelor's in Technology. But BTech with flexible timing course is available for working professionals if they need to complete their UG degree engineering program to learn more skills in their domain.

Difference between BTech program & BTech with Flexible Timing programs

BTech	BTech with Flexible Timing
BTech stands for Bachelor of Technology and offers comprehensive studies related to engineering. It is a regular BTech program that can be applied only after completing the 12th standard.	BTech with Flexible Timing also known as Lateral Entry program. This gives an opportunity to learners to apply for the BTech degree program after a polytechnic engineering certificate.
The duration to complete the course is 4 years.	Mainly, the BTech with Flexible Timing is a 3 years program. Applicant directly promoted to the 2nd year of engineering BTech Regular program.
No prior working experience is required to enroll for the BTech regular program	A minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience is needed for registration BTech Program.

Full Time 4 Years B.Tech Programs after 12th

Those who desire to complete their Bachelor in Technology 4 four-year UG program can apply directly after 12 standards if these conditions are satisfied: 

• Mandatory subjects in the 12th class are Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. 
• Minimum 50% aggregate score in senior secondary education. However, aggregate marks may vary from university to university.

B.Tech Programs After Polytechnic/Diploma

There is a possibility for the Polytechnic Diploma holders to get the BTech Full-Time degree from the approved university. All they have to do is enroll for the BTech for Lateral Entry program.

Due to their 3-year diploma certificate, aspirants are directly promoted to the 2nd year of undergraduate Regular BTech Program. After completion of the BTech program from a recognized university, more roles and higher responsibilities will be offered. 

B.Tech with Flexible timing for working professionals
