The National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET UG 2026 examination from May 2026 onwards. Students who are looking to take admission to the central universities to pursue an undergraduate program. About CUET UG 2026

Syllabus of CUET UG 2026

As per the UGC norms, the CUET UG 2026 syllabus has changed; however, the syllabus of the CUET UG is vast yet divided into certain sections. Here, is the brief introduction to the overall syllabus of the CUET.

Language Subjects: 13 Indian languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu)

  • Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary

Eligibility Criteria 

There are certain eligibility criteria for appearing in the CUET 2026. For appearing in the CUET UG examination, the eligibility criteria are as follows

  • Candidates must have passed the class 12th examination with at least 50% marks, or candidates appearing in the 2026 examination are also eligible.
  •  Age requirements may vary for each institute/ university for admissions.

Candidates can appear for the examination as many times as they want, as there is no certain limit on appearing in the examination.
