The examination date is released on the official website of CUET (Common University Entrance Test), and the exams will be conducted in a window of March 2026. Appearing for this exam allows students to enroll in their dream university. CUET PG 2026 Important Dates

CUET is conducted once a year and the important dates regarding the examination are announced which available from December 14, 2025, the online application will be started and the last date for it will be January 14, 2026 whereas most probably the admit card will be released before 3 to 4 days of the examination date which held over March 2026 (To Be Announced). These dates are decided by the NTA (National Testing Agency) and they may fluctuate from the yet-to-be-announced date, but students can prepare themselves according to these dates as there’s a possibility of this date being finalized.

The latest notifications and updates are announced on the official website of NTA CUET PG, mentioning the CUET PG 2026 examination held in March 2026. The NTA (regulating body of the CUET exam) has announced that the application for the PG exam will be released on December 14, 2025, on the official website of NTA CUET PG. Interested students are required to register for the CUET PG 2026 Exam. However, CUET is an Online (Computer-based Test), and the examination is composed of a total of 100 questions that are subdivided into two parts. Part A has 25 questions based on Language Comprehension/ Verbal Ability, and Part B consists of 75 domain-specific questions. 

CUET PG 2026 Examination Pattern

The CUET PG examination has a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, which are divided into 2 parts. Part A has 25 questions on Language Comprehension/ Verbal Ability, whereas Part B consists of 75 domain-specific questions. The examination is available in both Hindi and English, and it is held once a year. The marking of the examination is done in such a way that +4 marks are given for every correct answer, and there will be a negative marking of -1 for every wrong answer. The total mark an individual can score is 400, and the exam is conducted through an Online Computer-based Test.

Eligibility Criteria for CUET PG 2026

The eligibility criteria for the CUET PG 2026 examination have no age limit. Still, the candidate must have completed their bachelor's degree from a valid and recognized university with a minimum score of 55% or equivalent from a recognized university. Most importantly, the candidate has to check the educational qualification and eligibility criteria of the particular program they are willing to opt for and the university they are taking admission into.

Students who are still in their last year of graduation can also apply for the CUET PG 2026, and there are no minimum marks set by the examination regulations to consider it a good score; instead, the minimum score is set by the universities, and the student has to consider the minimum marks set by the university of their choice. The Application Process for CUET PG 2026

The application process for the CUET PG 2026 examination is mentioned below. Still, before applying for the exam, the candidate is required to go through the eligibility criteria of their opted program and university. The process is mentioned below:

  • Interested candidates are required to visit the official website of the CUET PG 2026 Exam.
  • After visiting the website, students must register; the registration process requires personal details, work experience, and other relevant information.
  • When the registration process is completed, the students will receive their login credentials for the application portal.
  • With the help of login credentials, students will have access to the application form, and they can start filling it out the application form with the required information.
  • While filling out the application form, candidates must attach the required documents along with the application form. It may include mark sheets supporting the qualification, a photo of the candidate's signature, a passport-size color photo, etc.
  • When the application form has been filled the candidate must go through the form and look for any mistakes and abnormalities after that, the candidate will be redirected to the payment option, where the fee can be paid through a debit card, credit card, UPI, Net banking, etc.
  • Fee payment is the last step, and the candidate can finally click on the submit tab below their application form.

The application fee is different for various categories of students and students under the reserved category.
