CUET PG 2024: Exam Date (Out), Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus

The NTA (National Testing Agency) has announced the CUET PG 2024 examination date. The examination date is released on the official website of CUET (Common University Entrance Test), and the exams will be conducted in a window of 18 days i.e. 11 March to 28 March 2024. Appearing for this exam allows students to enroll in their dream university. CUET PG 2024 Important Dates

CUET is conducted once a year and the important dates regarding the examination are yet to be announced but it is expected that during the first week of December, the online application will be started and the last date for it will be in 1 week of January 2024 whereas most probably the admit card will be released in the second week of February 2024 and the exam will be held from 11th to 28th March 2024 (Announced). These dates are decided by the NTA (National Testing Agency) and they may fluctuate from the yet-to-be-announced date but students can prepare themselves according to these dates as there’s a possibility of this date being finalized. 

CUET PG 2024 Exam Date

The latest notifications and updates are announced on the official website of  CUET mentioning the examination date for UET 2024 PG which is between 15th May 2024 and 31st May 2024. The NTA (regulating body of the CUET exam) has announced that the application for the PG exam will be released in February 2024 on the official website of CUET. Interested students are required to register themselves at the official website of CUET to fill out the application form. CUET is an Online (Computer-based Test) and the examination is composed of a total of 100 questions that are subdivided into two parts. Part A has 25 questions based on Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability whereas, Part B consists of 75 domain-specific questions. 

CUET PG 2024 Examination Pattern

The CUET PG examination has a total of 100 multiple choice questions which are divided into 2 parts. Part A has 25 questions on Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability whereas, Part B consists of 75 domain-specific questions. The examination is available in both Hindi and English languages, and it is held once a year. The marking of the examination is done in such a way that +4 marks are given for every correct answer and there will be a negative marking of -1 for every wrong answer. The total mark an individual can score is 400 and the exam is conducted through an Online Computer-based Test.

Eligibility Criteria for CUET PG 2024

The eligibility criteria for the CUET PG 2024 examination have no age limit. Still, the candidate must have completed their bachelor's degree from a valid and recognized university with a minimum score of 55% or equivalent from a recognized university. Most importantly the candidate has to check the educational qualification and eligibility criteria of the particular program they are willing to opt for and the university they are taking admission into.

Students who are still in their last year of graduation can also apply for the CUET PG 2024 and there are no minimum marks set up by the examination regulations to consider it a good score instead, the minimum score is set up by the universities and the student have to consider the minimum marks set up by the university of their choice. There are reservations for reserved category students and benefits for persons with disabilities (PwD). 

The Application Process for CUET PG 2024

The application process for the CUET 2024 PG examination is mentioned below but before applying for the exam the candidate is required to go through the eligibility criteria of their opted program and university and further process is mentioned below:

• Interested candidates are required to visit the official website of the CUET PG Exam 2024.
• After visiting the website students have to register themselves the website, the registration process requires personnel qualification, work experience, and personnel information.
• When the registration process is completed the students will receive their login credentials for the application portal.
• With the help of login credentials, students will have access to the application form and the candidate can start filling out the application form with the required information.
• While filling out the application form candidates must attach the required documents along with the application form. It may include mark sheets supporting the qualification, a photo of the candidate's signature, a passport-size color photo, etc.
• When the application form has been filled the candidate must go through the form and look for any mistakes and abnormalities after that the candidate will be redirected to the payment option, the fee can be paid through a debit card, credit card, UPI, Net banking, etc.
• Fee payment is the last step and the candidate can finally click on the submit tab below their application form.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Application Fee

The application form is only submitted if the applicant pays a certain amount of money as their application fee. The application fee is different for various categories of students and students under the reserved category. Applicants can pay the fee through UPI, debit card, credit card, NET banking, or any other suitable medium. 

Preparation Tips for CUET 2024 PG Exam

Students who have decided to attempt the May 2024 CUET PG exam still have plenty of time to prepare well for the exam and with the preparation tips mentioned in the blog students can score good marks in the exam without facing constraints. The first students must ensure that they start early, the student must start at least 3-4 months before the exam to get familiar with the syllabus, understand the various sections of the exam, prepare well, and work on the weak topics.
