CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is an advantage offered by the NTA (National Testing Agency) to every student in India. CUET allows students to enroll at top-ranked institutes and universities for their UG, PG, diploma, and Certification program, the main objective behind the CUET exam is to introduce the concept of ”One India, One Exam”.

Students appearing for the May 2024 CUET exam still have plenty of time to prepare well for the exam and starting preparation before the exam assists students in scoring good marks in the exam without facing constraints. The syllabus of the CUET 2024 UG examination includes 27 subjects i.e. Anthropology, Agriculture, Art Education Sculpture, Biology, Computer Science, Business Studies, Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, Economics/Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Knowledge Tradition - Practices India, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Teaching Aptitude, and Accountancy. The CUET 2024 UG examination is conducted through CBT (Computer Test) and is divided into four sections: languages, domain, and general test and every section has MCQ-type questions. These sections include different subjects and different criteria that are mentioned below in detail:
The languages section in the Common University Entrance Test is the first section that is sub-divided into two parts i.e. Section 1A consists of 13 languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, English, Assamese, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, and Malayalam. Meanwhile, Section 1B has 20 languages i.e. German 207 Italian 208 Japanese 209 Kashmiri 210 Konkani 211 Maithili 212 Manipuri 213 Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit, Dogri, Bodo, French, Chinese, and Arabic and language section is compromised of 50 questions and students are required to attempt 40 out of them.

The second section of the CUET examination is Domain-specific which is considered to be the toughest part of the exam. Students under this section are required to attempt 35/40 or 45/50 questions. There are 27 specific domain subjects under this section the questions are offered in the MCQ pattern and the syllabus is based on the 12th standard curriculum. There are 27 total CUET domain-specific subjects and students can opt for up to 6 specific domains. Students can prepare for this section through NCERT books or get help from guides, mock test papers, etc. The different 27 domain-specific subjects include Anthropology, Agriculture, Art Education Sculpture, Biology, Computer Science, Business Studies, Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, Economics/Business Economics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Knowledge Tradition - Practices India, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Mass Media/ Mass Communication, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Teaching Aptitude, and Accountancy.

The General Test section in the CUET exam is designed in such a way as to examine and analyze the general knowledge, general awareness, English Language, Mathematical skills, and Logical/Analytical reasoning skills of an individual. The major parts that are included in the general test section are mentioned below:
This section of the CUET UG 2024 examination consists of a total of 60 questions and students are required to attempt 50 out of them. The syllabus of this section covers a variety of subjects to analyze the logical understanding of an individual.

The marking scheme for the CUET 2024 UG examination is as follows, for every correct answer the students will be awarded 5 marks, and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted, and for any unattempted question there will be 0 marks.

The NTA (National Testing Agency) has announced the date for CUET 2024 PG examination on the official website of CUET and the notice on the website has regulated, exams will be conducted in a window of 18 days i.e. 11 March to 28 March 2024. Appearing for this exam allows students to enroll in their dream university and pursue their higher education in the specific specialization they are willing to do from central universities.

The marking scheme for the CUET PG 2024 examination is as follows, every multiple choice question in the exam carries 4 marks and these marks are only awarded if the candidate has answered them correctly and for an incorrect answer, there is a negative marking of 1 mark. Simultaneously, every unanswered MCQ will have no mark, and if any technical glitch occurs in a question the candidate will be awarded full marks for that specific question, whether the candidate has attempted it or not.
Every question of the CUET 2024 PG examination carries 4 marks for the correct answer whereas a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
