The syllabus for first year of the course is same for all specializations. Students can choose their specialization from second year of the program.

Each semester lasts 6 months and consists of two tests per subject: a midterm and an end-of-semester exam. The midterm test covers the first few chapters, while the final exam covers the rest of the semester. Students have 15-20 days to take the online midterm test, which is available 24/7. Similarly, for the end-of-semester test, students have a 15-20 day window to select a pre-scheduled time slot. These tests are proctored and require students to use a webcam. In some situations, legislative constraints may demand holding the end-of-semester test in physical exam centers.

Both midterm and end-of-semester exams are evaluated out of 50 points. Midterm examinations account for 20% of the overall mark, whereas end-of-semester exams account for 80%. To pass a topic, students must earn at least 50% on the midterm and end-of-semester exams.
