M Tech Application Form through GATE Score
GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering is an entrance exam for pursuing a master’s course in engineering. MTech or Master’s of technology is a postgraduate course pursued by the students after completing the B.Tech degree. The aspirants need to fill the online registration form for the GATE examination.
The examination will be conducted online and the result will be also announced online. After the result, the aspirants need to apply individually in engineering colleges according to their marks and the cut-off lists. GATE is mandatory to pursue the MTech degree.
M Tech Application Form for NITs and IIITs
For applying in IIITs and NITs the candidates need to score in the GATE exam. GATE is an online entrance exam conducted by NITs and IIITs. There is no need to apply separately in all NITs or IIITs. After clearing the GATE the cut-off is declared and the student will choose the college according to their marks. A common counseling process is conducted by these institutes after completing all the processes and then the admission is done.
M Tech Application Form for IITs
For applying at IIT’s the students need to apply individually in each IIT through their website. There is a portal called COAT – Common Offer Acceptance Portal available on the website of IIT for the convenience of the students to apply and check which college has accepted their admission. The admission will be announced after the result of the GATE examination depending upon the cut-off lists. The student needs to clear the GATE examination for applying to any IIT college.

M Tech Admission in Deemed Universities/ Private Universities
Private Universities or deemed to be universities conduct their own entrance exams for MTech admission. GATE scores can also apply for the private or deemed to be universities. Some universities allow admission without any entrance exam for the M Tech course.
