Eligibility Criteria To enroll in an MBA in IT :

  • Candidate must have passed graduation or equivalent in any stream from a recognized institute/ university. 
  • Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience are preferred.

Different Modes of MBA IT 

MBA IT is a two-year postgraduate program offered in online, distance, regular, and part-time mode. Various modes of MBA can be pursued and the value of all modes remains the same. You can enroll in the regular program after appearing in the entrance examination.

Those who are looking to enroll in the regular MBA IT program must take the entrance examination. But if you are looking to enroll in the online MBA there will be no need to give any entrance examination. The entrance examination is conducted by the university at the national level. In the distance MBA, the curriculum is quite concise.

In the regular MBA program, the curriculum is offered through practical as well as theoretical aspects in physical mode. 

Teaching Principles 

A flexible mode of learning is offered. The curriculum is offered in a flexible mode in terms of assignment submission, examinations, and many more. 

The mode of education is flexible in terms of assignment submission, and attending classes but strict with the examination schedule. 

The mode of education is very strict. You are supposed to give the examinations, assignments, and other projects at a fixed time frame. 

Duration 

In the Online mode of MBA, the candidates get flexibility in terms of duration. You can study at your own pace and can complete the program by taking more time than 2 years. 

In the distance mode of education, you get the flexibility to study at your own pace and the course can be completed in 2-5 years of duration. 

In regular mode, the course duration is fixed which is two years. 

Admission procedure 

To enrol in the online MBA program the candidates are not required to take any entrance examination. 

In distance MBA the candidates may or may not be required to take the entrance examinations. 

In the regular mode of education, the candidates are required to take the entrance mandatorily.
