Banasthali Vidyapith, established in 1935, is deemed to be a University and it is distinct from other universities. Neither to the Educationalist nor to the Social Reformer’s zeal, the University owes its own essence and pride in existence. Banasthali came into existence to offer girls of society a quality education that would help them grab a secure place in this society dominated by men.  

Smt Ratan Shastri & Pandit Hiralal Shastri (Former Secretary- home & foreign department) after the death of their young & talented daughter named Shantabai. The University is specifically formed for women only. The University Campus is vibrant and open well-maintained and environmentally friendly and is secured by the boundary/ wall in an area of 8,000 acres, it has much positive feedback &  reviews from the students. 

The Campus is equipped with all the facilities which include high-tech classrooms and lecture halls balanced with sunlight, a broad and spacious playground, clean and big swimming pools, a canteen, a prayer hall, and many more. The University accommodates many students at the University Campus. All the students be Indian or from a foreign land get the hostel.

This institute has various high-tech laboratories that have all the facilities, like Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Computer lab, Bio-sciences & Home Sciences, etc. They organized a British Council training program for young students and mandated it to be attended as a part of the curriculum. The best part about the University is that they focus on extra-curricular activities such as horse riding, marshal arts, and various other activities.
