Bharathidasan University was founded in the year 1982, and the founders named the university after the name of the famous Tamil poet, Kanagasabai Subbu or also called Bharathidasan. This Institute aims to achieve excellence by catering for students with quality education, world-class infrastructure and all the facilities the students. The university has around 2 faculties that have 39+ departments and around 29 research centres equipped with all the facilities.
