Here are the basic steps that you need to follow for taking admission to IIM.

Step 1- The first step is to check the eligibility criteria of the elected course. If you want to get enrolled in a full-time course, you need to appear in the entrance examinations like  CAT or MAT, with a good rank. If you are taking admission to an online course, you have to simply apply on the portal. 

Step 2- The next step is to fill in the essential requirements in the application form. Check the information filled in twice to avoid any mistakes.

Step 3- Now, you need to enter the educational qualifications and credentials with experience in the industry in the related field. 

Step 4- Add all the relevant documents asked. The essential documents include your education and all academic transcripts, a Passport-size photograph of the candidate, a scorecard for the entrance examination, and others(if required).

Step 5- Move to the next step, which is filling out the fee as asked for the course. 

Step 6- After the verification of the details filled by the candidate the university checks the same and then confirms the admission of the students.

Step 7- Download the confirmation letter of the admission sent to the student through mail or message for future reference. Also, keep the login credentials of your portal safe.
