IIM-B, or The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore was established in 1973 and is India’s leading Business School that offers top-notch graduate programs. It is a big institute with around 108+ faculty members and more than 1200 students who are pursuing various full-time and online programs from the institution. It offers postgraduate degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, and doctoral degree programs to all students. It has various options in disciplines that students can choose from.

This Institution is ranked second by NIRF 2024 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It has been granted some international recognitions, rankings, and awards like FT MIM Global Rank 2022 as 1st in India and ranked 31st globally. As per the Eduniversal 2022, it has been awarded as number one position in the category of B-School in Central Asia. As per QS EMBA Rankings 2023, it was awarded as the number one institution for the program (PGPEM) and 43rd in the world.

The institution was accredited by EQUIS(EFMD Quality Improvement System), in 2016. That is also accredited by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), which is a specialized body to offer higher education institutes of MBA. At present, this Institution has many Student Exchange Programmes along with many partners all across the globe in countries like North America, Europe,  Australia, South America, and Asia.

It has a strong alumni international network A Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), that consists of 32 eminent bodies of Business Schools around the World.  They have started working on their upcoming campus which will be situated at Jigani, 27 km far place from Bannerghatta Road campus.
