Madurai Kamaraj University Online

Madurai Kamaraj University was established in 1966 through a bill that was passed by the State Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. The university is approved by the UGC(University Grants Commission). This University offers a variety of courses in various disciplines, it offers 41 postgraduate courses, 35 M.Phil, 17 Diploma or PG Diplomas or certificate courses, and 66 undergraduate courses, 45 postgraduation courses by affiliated colleges.

Currently, more than 2428 students/ learners and researchers are a part of the University, with 163 research projects. This University has many facilities like a central library that is equipped with 3 lakh+ books, 15,000 journals, and many other e-books. The campus is also supported with one Gbps internet connection, smart high-tech classrooms, and many more.

Madurai Kamaraj University with a visionary step started offering courses to the students in online mode. It is entitled by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to offer online programs to students. In Online mode, the University is offering various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It offers courses like Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Arts in English, Gandhian Thoughts, Mathematics, Political Science, Commerce, Business Administration, and many more.

The University is a statutory body funded by UGC. It has been accredited by NAAC A++ grade and as an A status by UGC.  The University offers various online classes, provides online material to the students, and gives live sessions with experts to improve the quality of education offered to the students.

This University has a dedicated Placement cell that offers all the facilities that facilitate the quick placement of the students studying at the university. It was created in the year 2007 to conduct a placement drive that offers counseling to students to improve their skills of the students by using the resources and guidance of the National Skill Development Corporation.
