Who is eligible for an entrance exam? 

To be eligible for an entrance exam for a PhD, you must fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria:

The admission procedure to gain admission to a PhD program

To gain admission to a Ph.D. program, it is a must for you to follow the given steps below:

• Go to the university’s official website and check all the specializations offered by the university and all the information regarding the specialization you wish to pursue. 
• To fill out the application form, you must keep an eye on the university's official website as they publish the notification regarding the admission on their website. 
• You need to submit the application form on the timelines provided by the university. It is advised that you must submit all the necessary documents required for admission. 
• Keep in mind that some universities can also ask for the research proposal with the application form, and you must have your research proposal ready.

You must know the exam test pattern and curriculum for efficient preparation for the entrance examination. There are 2 papers in the entrance exam. Paper 1 and Paper 2. You must take both exams in a single three-hour session. Paper 1 assesses your ability to teach and research, while paper 2 consists of subject-specific questions.
