Visvesvaraya Technological University is one of the leading and prominent technological universities in India, it was founded by the government of Karnataka in 1998 and it is situated in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. This university has vast exposure to education as it is affiliated with a total of 219 colleges.
The university started its online education programs to assist students who are willing to pursue their higher education but are unable to do so due to a lack of facilities and availability of resources to overcome their problems the university initiated this department. The main objective of the university was to offer quality education with value-based learning programs.
The university has four major regional centers across the state of Karnataka Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kalaburagi, and Mysuru. VTU is the first university in the nation who analyze and adapt digitalization in the education industry and it set an example for other universities by implementing a Digital Evaluation System in 2011-12.
VTU Online offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and postgraduate diploma programs under its online education department. All the courses offered at the university have been updated and revised regularly as per the industry trends which guide the students to understand and develop industry-oriented skills and the faculty is always a step ahead in upskilling the students in their relevant field. The university also offers students highly accessible LMS, a student support department, placement support, and other facilities.
