Here is a detailed admission procedure mentioned for students seeking admission to DU 2024:
Candidates must appear for the CUET UG 2024 exam. Students have to register first from the official portal cuetug.ntaonline.in .It is important to fill in the details carefully because name, signature and photograph will be auto-generated to CSAS UG while applying.
For admission to DU through CUET, you must apply at the DU CSAS portal after the announcement of results. Your CUET UG login ID and password will be required for filling DU CSAS form.

After the CUET UG result announcement and registering on DU CSAS, students can fill out their preferred courses and colleges. Candidates can select as many courses as he/she wants and
Confirm the order of preferences by clicking on ‘Submit’.
DU will release a merit list, for all the courses offered under CUET UG in DU. The first possible preference will be allocated to the students on the basis of following criteria- Course merit, Reservation, Seat Availability, etc.
After a candidate accepts the allocated seat from the CSAS DU portal dashboard. The university will verify the documents and eligibility of the candidate.
Before releasing the merit list, Delhi University will open an upgrade window for candidates who want to change to a higher preference of colleges or preferred courses. A candidate who upgrades, has to accept the upgraded seat, if not the seat automatically gets canceled.
On spot Admission in DU through CUET, will be based on vacant seats remaining after the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) round. On spot round will be locked for only those candidates who had applied for DU CSAS 2023 but were not able to get admitted to any course and college. Candidates who want to apply through an on-spot admission facility must update their CSAS dashboard from the ‘freeze’ tab to ‘spot admission’. The seats allocated to students will be based on several seats available, course merit, preferred colleges, reservation category and other allocation rules.
To apply on the DU CSAS portal students must pay an application fee, which is different per category. The payment will be submitted through online mode.
For candidates applying with ECA/sports quota then additional 100 INR needs to be paid:
