No, for online courses, no entrance exams are conducted by the universities offering them. This is one of the best benefits of the online degree courses, due to which a large number of applicants, whether working or not, are drawn towards them.

Entrance exams are not necessarily important but some institutes like IIMs demand scores of CAT, XAT, SNAP, and GMAT while some colleges do not conduct any entrance exams or do not even demand any entrance exam scores.

No, some universities don’t take any of the entrance exam rounds for admission in online degree courses, and when they don’t, they require some other form of requirements, like scorecards, academic reports, project portfolio, Letter of recommendation, Statement of purpose of pursuing the program, and others.
But some universities take the entrance exams for admission to online degree courses, and one of them is the CUET exam. With this, the capability, technical skills, and understanding of the devices are tested.
