The shortest answer is YES, You are eligible and can apply for a PhD program after completing a 2-year executive MBA. If you think you are interested in diving into your specialization and understanding it more deeply then a PhD is a good option for you to pursue.
The basic criteria for getting enrolled in a PhD program is to have a 2-year master's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Universities take your exam to check if you are capable or not. and if you qualify for the exam then are present before the panel to discuss and explain your topic of interest and then your selection depends on whether the panel members find your topic interesting or not.

Yes, after finishing the 2-year executive MBA successfully, the candidate is qualified enough for one of the criteria which is having a postgraduate degree in Business Administration which is going to be the subject of Ph.D in business administration. The student can have different specializations in both degrees. But the bottom line, the student has to have any type of MBA degree that is recognized by UGC and other concerned institutions that validate management education.

The criteria for PhD eligibility after a 2-year Executive MBA differ among universities. Most universities require a regular MBA or a master’s degree in a relevant field. Some may accept an Executive MBA if it is recognized. But candidates usually need to meet other entry requirements too. These include entrance exams, research proposals, and work experience. Always check the specific PhD requirements of your chosen university.
