CUET UG: BHU Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission at BHU through the CUET UG exam, a candidate must fulfill below mentioned eligibility requirements:

A candidate must have cleared 12th from a recognized board of education.
Candidates must have passed 12th with the minimum required percentage depending on the course you selected.
Subject studies in 12th must be included in the CUET UG exam according to the preferred course. Students must select a language and domain-specific subjects.

Registration for CUET UC 2024

Candidates must have to register from the official website. It is advised to fill out personal details, academic details, signature, etc carefully as the same will be used in the BHU application form.

Appear for the CUET UG 2024 Examination

Candidates should be present on a specific date and time for the examination. The exam is CBT(Computer Based Test). It is advised to follow the exam guidelines.

Fill out the BHU UG Program Registration Form

Students must register and fill out the BHU UG registration form with basic details and submit the following documents:

Passport size photograph
Signature
10th and 12th mark sheets
Other relevant documents include a Caste, Income, Transfer Certificate (TC), and Character Certificate (CC).

After carefully submitting documents and verifying the information, candidates have to pay registration fees through online mode.

Seat Allocation: The admission will be based on the CUET scores, as BHU considers CUET UG normalized scores to evaluate merit scores according to the preferred course. Based on preference of course, colleges and availability of seats, computers will allocate the seats to students at BHU.
Offer Acceptance: Those who get admission in the first allotment must have to pay INR 2500 (INR 500 for SC/ST) to confirm the seat. It is mandatory to complete the payment before 6 PM the next day otherwise admission will be withdrawn permanently.
Upgradation: Those who want to upgrade to the higher preference must not lock in, but those who already accepted the offer and paid the commitment fee must verify again and lock in the allotment.
Obtain Provisional Admission Letter:After receiving a provisional admission letter, candidates must visit counseling locations to receive an admission letter from the admission officer. A provisional admission letter will be provided so that students can verify the information, like admission fee and deadline.
Final Payment: After receiving the admission letter, students have to pay the balance fee left after submitting the commitment fee. Students pay the fees from the link provided on the dashboard. In case of a surplus fee, it gets refunded.

BHU UG Courses Offered through CUET 2024

Course Name	Eligibility
B.A. (Hons.) Social Sciences	Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in total in 12th or the equivalent examination. To obtain Hons. Degree in Economics, the candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of their High School subjects.
B.A. Shastri Hons.	Candidates need to pass the following examinations: Madhyama/ Uttar Madhyama/ Madhyama Exam of BHU/ Upa Shastri/(10+2) /intermediate examination or equivalent with a minimum of 50% total marks. Must have read Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the previous class. The candidates who have passed the certificate course of Sanskrit from BHU after 12th with 50% total marks in the course are also eligible for the course. In this case, they need to have 50% total marks in their 12th exam or equivalent as well.
B. Com (Hons)/B.Cm Hons. FMM	Candidates must pass 12th or equivalent in commerce/ economics/ Computer science/ Management/ Finance/ Financial Markets/ Vocational courses with at least 50% marks in total. Also, they need to pass in the concerned subjects.
B.Sc (Hons.) Maths Groups	Candidates need to be qualified in 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in total in physics, math, and any of the following subjects Computer Science, IT, Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Statistics, etc. Age not to be more than 22 years on the 1st July 2024.
B.Sc (Hons.) Biology group	Candidates need to pass the 12th exam with a minimum of 50% marks in total in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and any of the following subjects: Geography, Geology & Biology. They need to be passed in all these concerned subjects. Age not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2024.
B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture group	Candidates must pass 12th or intermediate examination in the stream of science (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, Biology)/Agriculture or any equivalent examination with 50% marks in total. Age must be not less than 16 years and not more than 25 years on 1st July of 2024.

B.Tech. in Food Technology	Candidates must be qualified in 12th or equivalent examination with PCM or PCMB along with English from a recognized board/ university. They must score 50% in total. Age must not be more than 23 years on 1st July 2024.

B. Voc in Banking, Insurance, and Retailing	Need to be qualified in 12th in any stream or any other equivalent exam or need to have the certificate of level 4 NSQF. B. Voc in Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship	Need to be qualified in 12th in science or any other equivalent exam or need to have a certificate of level 4 NSQF.
