Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) popularly known as SRM University is a deemed-to-be university. The university was established in the year 1985 in Chennai. Along with Chennai, the university has set up its campus in Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad. After establishing its name in the regular mode of education, the university has started its new venture in online education i.e. SRM Online.
SRM Online has been approved and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), and has also gotten a National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ grade to provide online degree programs.
