About SRM University Online
Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) popularly known as SRM University is a deemed-to-be university. The university was established in the year 1985 in Chennai. Along with Chennai, the university has set up its campus in Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad. After establishing its name in the regular mode of education, the university has started its new venture in online education i.e. SRM Online.
SRM Online has been approved and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), and has also gotten National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ grade to provide online degree programs.

SRM University Online Admission Process
Admissions at SRM Online are conducted entirely in online mode. The admissions are done on the basis of an entrance exam or on a merit basis depending upon the course. For applying to admissions in the SRM Online for the 2023 session just follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1- Visit the online admission portal of the university.
Step 2- Fill up the application form available on the website.
Step 3- Then upload the documents as mentioned in the form in the appropriate size and format.
Step 4- Then clear the selection process i.e. either an online entrance exam or an online interview.
Step 5- After clearing the selection process, pay the asked fee through various banking methods like net banking/credit card/debit card, etc.
Step 6- After completing all the formalities of admission you have finally enrolled in the university.
Note: If you are a working professional then you are exempted from the entrance exam. The working professional only has to appear in the interview process for getting admission.

SRM University Online Examination Pattern
In SRM Online, online examinations are conducted at the end of the semester. The exams can be taken from anywhere. These examinations are conducted in a proctored environment. And, the examination pattern consists of two components i.e. objective type and descriptive type questions. The students also get to practice for their online examinations with the help of mock tests. These mock tests are conducted usually when the term-end exams are approaching.

I am in my final year of online MCA & the technical tool training & latest methodologies incorporated in this course are quite intensive which gives a real classroom experience. With each class, I am becoming more confident in taking up this PG program from SRM University.
