About Andhra University Distance Education
Students can get admission at the Andhra University twice a year: in the academic year batch which is from July to June and in the Calendar year batch from January to December. Students can check the website for notifications of admission. Students are not required to visit the Andhra University themselves. The learners can join any course from anywhere in the world through online mode.
Students can fill out the online application to take admission to Andhra University's official website. The School of Distance Education offers many courses for both, undergraduate and postgraduate levels along with Diplomas, Certificate and Postgraduate Diplomas. However, students can only choose one specific course out of the available listed courses of the University.

The syllabus and the time duration of the courses are set as per the guidelines of the UGC Guidelines, the maximum time duration for completion of the course is twice the minimum duration to complete the same course. For example, students can complete the bachelor's program in a minimum period of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years. Similarly, a master's can be completed in a minimum period of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years. Andhra University offers self-learning material (SLM) to students in print as well as in soft copies. For hard copies, students have to make a special request.
