Junior Civil Engineer Job in Mohali at IDAS GLOBAL PVT LTD

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & sourcing:
a. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for civil, electrical, and mechanical materials.
b. Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
c. Manage vendor relationships and maintain supplier databases.

2. Product & inventory management:
a. Assist in selecting and managing product lines across civil, electrical, and mechanical categories.
b. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouses for inventory control.
c. Ensure timely procurement to avoid project delays.

3. Order processing & documentation:
a. Prepare purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries.
b. Maintain procurement records, including invoices, purchase agreements, and supplier contracts.
c. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Market & supplier research:
a. Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
b. Stay updated with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies.

5. Quality control & compliance:
a. Ensure procured materials meet required quality and safety standards.
b. Work with engineers and project managers to verify product specifications.
c. Assist in vendor audits and compliance checks.

6. Coordination & communication:
a. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, finance) for procurement needs.
b. Handle supplier communication, addressing issues related to delays, quality, or pricing.
c. Assist in resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.

7. Cost & budget management:
a. Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for procurement activities.
b. Monitor expenses to ensure procurement stays within allocated budgets.
