About Bharathidasan University Distance Education
Bharathidasan University, established in the year 1982, offers more than 60 programs that include 15 UG & 26 PG programs, 6+ diploma or certificate courses & 7 professional courses in distance education mode. CDE, or The Centre for Distance Education of BDU (Bharathidasan University) was founded in 1992, for students who are deprived to get an education or could not continue their education. All the students who pursue their degree in distance mode from the University are at par with the degree holders of regular mode students. The University conducts classes for distance-mode students on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays).
All the activities and regulations are strictly invigilated by the Centre for Distance Education Staff. This State University has two campuses and a total of 4 faculties, which include 39 departments and 29 innovative research centres. The University offers more than 151 programs that have 40 Postgraduate programs, 31 M.Phil courses, 19 P.G.Diplomas, 33 Ph.D., 11 Diplomas, and 10 Certificate courses students.

Bharathidasan University Distance Education Admission Process
If you are thinking to take admission to the distance program of Bharathidasan University you can refer to the process given here. For full information, it is recommended to go through the official website of the University as well.
Step 1- It is advised to register on the admission portal with a working and valid e-mail Id and phone number.
Step 2- Before starting to fill out the admission form, keep these documents with you.
- - E-mail Id, Phone No., Aadhar No., Photograph (Passport), Semester mark sheets
- - Any other relevant documents required as per your course
Step 3- After filling in the details and uploading documents, go to the payment submission portal.
Step 4- Fee payment can be made through Net Banking, Debit Card, or UPI.
Step 5- Do not refresh in between the fee payment.
Step 6- You will get confirmation of the payment after the payment of the fee.
Step 7- Your application will be accepted after the successful fee payment and verification of the submitted documents

Bharathidasan University Distance Education Examination Pattern
The Examinations are conducted at the dedicated examination centers of the University. Students are allowed to choose the examination center at their convince. The examination is conducted in pen-paper mode. The examination pattern can vary from subject to subject. Students can prepare for the exams by analyzing the previous year's papers and later practicing mock exams can be very helpful.

Bharathidasan University’s online MBA course helped me boost my career while continuing to earn, a much needed step in my career. The curriculum for my UG course was pretty good and the learning management system was very helpful in continuing learning at my convenience in a very flexible way. I could not opt for a regular course due to personal reasons but the online course in Bharathidasan University lived up to my expectations as I learnt my foundations as comprehensively in the online mode as well.
