Master of Philosophy Eligibility & Duration
Earlier, when the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) was a valid degree in India, it required a master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks. It also required an entrance exam qualification based on the requirements of the universities offering it. However, to get admission to the Doctorate of Business Administration, you need to have this-
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Institution with at least 50% marks.
- Professional work experience of 3 to 5 years (Only required for candidates with a bachelor’s degree).
- No entrance exam and upper age limit.

- Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/Institution with at least 50% marks.
- No work experience required if you have a master’s degree.

Duration: The duration of the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) was 2 years. However, the duration of an Online DBA is equivalent to a PhD and is just 3 years. This duration is much less than traditional PhDs, which students used to pursue after completion of their MPhil.
