As the Founding Video Editor – Short Films & Digital Content, you will play a key role in shaping our visual output by editing high-quality short films, storytelling-based videos, and viral short-form content for our brand. This is not a scriptwriting or ideation-heavy role. The concepts, ideas, and scripts will be provided by the founders and content team. Your primary role will be to bring these ideas to life through strong editing, pacing, storytelling flow, and visual treatment.
We are looking for someone proactive who understands what makes content go viral and can take ownership of editing-based projects - such as cutting podcast clips, trimming high-impact moments, and editing short films as per the vision shared.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit short films and storytelling videos based on pre-planned concepts or scripts.
2. Cut, crop, and refine long-form content (e.g., podcasts, lectures, speeches) into short, viral-friendly clips.
3. Maintain high-quality pacing, transitions, color grading, and sound design.
4. Manage and execute a structured editing calendar for consistent output.
5. Enhance raw footage into polished, engaging short-form content.
6. Take ownership of certain content streams (e.g., podcast clipping, reel creation, short film edits).
7. Work closely with founders to align the final edit with brand tone and storytelling.
8. Explore and apply trends, viral formats, and platform-specific styles in your edits.
9. Maintain a fast yet quality-focused turnaround time.
10. Ensure all content follows brand aesthetics and consistency.
