Remote Junior AI/ML Developer Job at EMigrationAdvisor

We are an Australian business in the legal sector, committed to using cutting-edge technology to transform how our services are delivered. Our first major tech project- an innovative AI-driven application- is ready to move from design to full build. We are looking for the right person to take ownership of this initial development phase and potentially become the founding member of a future India-based tech team. We’re seeking a hands-on Junior AI/ML developer (fresher or up to 2 years’ experience - based preferably in Trivandrum) who can work remotely. Your first mission is to develop and deliver our AI-powered application end-to-end within 4–6 weeks. If successful, you’ll have the opportunity to continue with us for at least 6 months- with the potential to grow into a senior role as we expand the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work on the complete development of our AI-powered application from design to deployment
2. Write clean, efficient backend code in Python and integrate AI/ML models
3. Build and manage automation workflows using tools like n8n (or similar)
4. Create responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for the application
5. Design and manage databases such as MongoDB or equivalent
6. Integrate APIs and data sources into the application
7. Collaborate remotely with the Australian team during 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM IST working hours
8. Test, debug, and optimise the application to ensure high performance and security
9. Prepare technical documentation for the developed features

If this project proves viable, we will build a larger team in India- potentially with an office in Trivandrum- adding experts in marketing tech, process automation, and other specialist areas. As the first developer, you will have the advantage of seniority and influence in shaping the future tech team.
