Aligarh Muslim University is a public University that was established in the year 1875 as MAO College. Today it offers many UG, PG, diploma, certificate, and Ph.D. programs to students. Today it has 117 departments with over 39367+ students and a wide global network of more than 170000 Alumni spread all over the world. It is 3rd ranked Indian University. Aligarh Muslim University offers many UG and PG programs in various course fields of Sciences and Humanities, Social Sciences and many more.
Aligarh Muslim University stands among the top 10 universities in India that attract students from all across the world, especially from countries like Africa, Southeast Asia and West Asia. The University has 13 faculties that have 3 academics and 21 centers and institutes of 117 teaching departments.
The Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) is an essential part of the University. This offers a flexible learning method and ensures to provide the students with ‘independent learning’. It offers both distance and online programs.
The University is adopting many innovative and flexible methods of teaching and education that ensure the learners have an independent learning model in various study fields like BA, BSc, BCom, MCom and many more.
