Both the institutions IIT & IIM that provide MBA have a stellar record in providing top-class management programs of global standard.

Not all IITs are equipped to provide a standard MBA program since their main objective is to provide it as one of the many diverse programs. While IIT Delhi is among the top 5 management institutes in India,

When it comes to IIMs they are dedicated to providing management programs on undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs that need a great set of faculty to function as a dedicated management institute. That is the advantage the student gains in studying in IIM.

We can say that IIM has an edge over IITs for an MBA program, but regardless to some extent, a few of the IITs are on par with the IIMs depending on the curriculum.
