Annamalai University has established a Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), which offers a flexible MA Programme that enables working professionals, recent graduates, and lifelong learners to obtain advanced knowledge of Humanities and other Social Science Disciplines while continuing to work in their current jobs or find suitable employment quickly after being displaced from them because of the pandemic. Additionally, even the distance education programme from the university has the approval of UGC-DEB.

Through the use of high-quality self-paced study materials and online resources, as well as being able to attend classroom sessions if needed, the programme has been made accessible to students all over the country without hampering either their employment or their daily activities.
