IIM Bangalore’s MBA course, which is the Post-Graduate Programme in Management(PGP) is a two-year program consisting of 6 trimesters. This program is designed in such a way that the students can be trained with the knowledge and mentored to develop the required skills to take on roles of leadership in dynamic and complex business environments and scenarios. The Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) is a two-year program that is meant for senior and mid-level executives. These executives must have a minimum of 4 years of work experience. This program allows the students to continue their jobs and attend classes on weekends. This program’s purpose is centered around the functional experience and knowledge that is blended with contemporary knowledge of management that prepares the student to handle managerial responsibilities in a globalized and liberalized economic landscape. The fee should be paid in eight installments.
Suppose the student continues to attend the course beyond the two academic years which could be expanded to a maximum of 5 years to complete the required credits. In that case, he/she has to pay a continuation fee for each term after the last term of the two-year program until the completion of the course. An amount of INR 25K must be paid for each added term. Even if the student doesn’t attend some courses in a term, he/she has to pay for the full term anyway.

IIM Bangalore Financial Aid
To ensure that no student is deprived of getting an education at IIM Bangalore, there is a financial aid policy in place to provide for those who need financial assistance. The candidate’s annual household income must be below 8 Lakhs if the student is in the PGP program and 6 Lakhs if the student is in the PGP-BA program. A two-step process takes place through the undertaking of the Financial Aid Committee that decides the number of students to be awarded financial aid and the percentage of the fees to be aided.

IIM Bangalore Scholarships
Through IIM Bangalore, scholarships are provided depending on what kind of the student is, based on factors such as financial status, background, merit, need, etc. Along with that, alumni scholarships are also provided. Some of the scholarships provided are listed below-
- OPJEMS Scholarship: Given to the 2nd year PGP students, this scholarship is based on merit. Based on the academic performance in the first year of the program, the top 10 students of the second year are eligible to apply. Then an online test is held by conducted by OP Jindal group to find the one student who scores the most. The student who scores the highest gets to be awarded a scholarship of INR 1.5 Lakhs.
- Employment in Social Sector Scholarship: The ones who can apply for this scholarship are the ones who are working in the social sector. In the first three years of work & during the end of each year of work, 1/3rd of the fees is reimbursed under this scholarship.
- Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Scholarship (SC): Being a means scholarship, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment under the Government of India provides the National Scholarship for Higher Education for Scheduled Caste students. In the context of IIM Ahmedabad, SC students of merit from the first year of PGP can apply for this scholarship.
- Aditya Birla Scholarship: The Aditya Birla scholarship is meant for first-year and second-year students of the PGP batch based on merit. An amount of INR 1.75 Lakhs is provided per student who is granted in the first year depending on the required conditions by the provider of the scholarship. The student gets to renew the scholarship during the second year if the student’s academic performance is placed within the top 25% of students from the batch.
- NTPC Scholarship Scheme: Under the NTPC scholarship scheme, students of management studies in the second year belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, and who have passed in their first attempt of the first-year examinations are eligible to be granted a scholarship of INR 48K per year.
- Ministry of Tribal Affairs Scholarship (ST): This National Scholarship for Higher Education for Scheduled Tribes is awarded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, to the PGP students studying in their first year. Being a means scholarship, it covers the entire tuition fee.
- Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Scholarship: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Scholarship is meant to be a means scholarship for students with disability more than 40% along with a disability certificate that is issued from a legitimate medical authority. The amount of scholarship provided is INR 2.55 Lakhs per year.
- Siddharth Padam Scholarship: Under the Siddharth Padam Scholarship, a candidate with the highest CGPA in Economics and core courses related to Finance & Accounting in the first year of the PGP. The candidate should also be on the Director’s Merit List.
- Runwal Educational Trust scholarship: Under the Runwal Educational Trust scholarship, the students are selected based on their academic performance and financial aid score. When it comes to academic performance for the first year, the student should be in the top 40% of the batch. The financial aid score is based on the student's application for financial aid in the first year. Finally, an average is weighted based on the academic performance and financial aid score in which a 30% weightage is given to academic performance (CGPA) and 70% is given to the financial aid score.
- Ubuntu Scholarship: The Ubuntu scholarship is a merit cum means scholarship. It has 2 criteria: the student being a second-year student should get a minimum of 2.0 CGPA in the first year. Adding to that, the next criterion is the application for financial aid by the student. Based on these two criteria and the highest financial need overall score, the student will be selected for the scholarship.
- Deepankar Khiwani Scholarship: Based on Merit-cum-Means, this scholarship is given to two students of PGP.
- PGP Class of 1989 Scholarship: The PGP Class of 1989 scholarship is a means scholarship that is given to the student who has not received any scholarship or financial aid.
- PGP 1998 Batch Scholarship: The PGP 1998 Batch Scholarship is a merit cum needs scholarship that is given to 4 students from the differently abled quota.
- IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship: The IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship is given to a DAP (Differently Abled Person) who is a female who has completed her first year in PGP. If there is no eligible female DAP, a male DAP will be considered for the scholarship.
- Srimati Saraswati Kulkarni Prize for Excellence in Entrepreneurship: The Srimati Saraswati Kulkarni Prize for Excellence in Entrepreneurship is given to the student who has obtained the highest CGPA in the course of the entrepreneurship subject.
- Nitin Agarwal Scholarship: The Nitin Agarwal Scholarship is meant for those students who have not received any financial aid/scholarship and their financial aid score should be below the financial aid/scholarship cut-off. The student with the highest financial aid score below the cut-off is selected for the scholarship that is given during the MBA orientation program in 2nd year of PGP.
- Smt Parvathi and Sri Vedula Krishnamurthy Scholarship award: The Smt Parvathi and Sri Vedula Krishnamurthy Scholarship award is given to the student whose name is on the DML (Director’s Merit List). Along with that, the 2nd year PGP student should have the highest CGPA in a few subjects and each of the subject’s rank lists. These subjects are Competition & Strategy and ‘Business, Government & Society & Entrepreneurial Learning’.
- Parameshwara Iyer Award: The Parameshwara Iyer Award is a means scholarship given to the student who has not received any financial aid/scholarship.
- IIM Bangalore EPGP Scholarship - Merit (Admission): This EPGP scholarship is based on the overall admission score, in admission rounds 1,2 and 3. In round 1, three top-ranking students are granted this scholarship, four in round 2, and three in round 3. The amount awarded in this scholarship is INR 6 Lakhs. It is awarded in two forms. In the first form, 3 Lakhs are given for fee waiver at the time of registration. In the second form, another 3 lakhs are given to pay the next installment after 2 terms. Along with that, the main condition required is that the student should have a CGPA (considering core term 1 and core term 2) in the top 25% of his/her batch at the end of the first two terms.
- IIM Bangalore EPGP Scholarship - Merit cum Means (Admission): This scholarship is based on the admission score in three rounds of admission for the EPGP batch. In each round, a certain number of students will be eligible for the scholarship based on their overall admission scores. In round 1, two top-ranking students will be selected. In round 2, three students will be taken and in 2 students will be selected in round 3. All these students should not be covered under any other scholarship based on means and merit. The grant of this scholarship is done in two forms. In the first form, at the time of registration, a fee waiver of 2.5 Lakhs will be provided. In the second form, after two terms the CGPA based on the core terms 1 and 2, should come among the top 25% of his/her batch. Then 2.5 Lakhs will be granted to be paid for the next installment after term 2.
- IIM Bangalore EPGP Scholarship - Merit during the program: This scholarship is granted to the top 5 rank holders of the EPGP batch based on their CGPA after the core terms 1 & 2. If the student already has a scholarship, the next rank holders in the DML (Director’s Merit List) are considered for this scholarship. This scholarship’s amount is INR 3 Lakhs.

The modes of course delivery among the programmes of executive education programmes are online, offline(on-campus) and hybrid modes.
IIM Bangalore provides scholarships for PGP-Business Analytics (MBA-BA) and Executive PGP.
The criteria for getting financial aid from IIM Bangalore under the finance aid policy are if the student is in a PGP course, then the household income below 8 Lakhs will be considered or if the student is in PGP-Business Analytics, then the household income below 6 lakh will be considered.
The tuition fee for Ph.D programme is waivered by the institute and the stipend earned by the student is INR 42K.
The scholarships provided by IIM Bangalore are the ones provided through the institute, by alumni and the government.
