IIM Sirmaur MBA is a two-year programme that takes up the functional areas of management that are inherently meant to mentor the students towards acquiring the trade skills of business leaders or management professionals who will manage teams & organisations towards high productivity and efficient output.

IIM Sirmaur Master of Business Administration (Tourism Management) Fees

This IIM Sirmaur MBA programme is a specialisation-based programme based on tourism. It covers the knowledge & skills related to business & the functional areas of management. Along with that, it covers modules & projects related to tourism. This programme focuses on business and management modules to develop managerial competencies and along with that it also focuses on tourism and its related areas such as travel & hospitality management. 

The students of the programme are prepared to take up managerial job roles in the global tourism industry. The international expenses during the student’s studies held at the University of Mauritius and the University of Technology, Mauritius are given below-

• There will be two terms (term-4 & term-5) abroad in Mauritius where the hostel and travel expenses will be borne by the student.
• The lodging will cost the student INR 15K in Mauritius.
• The lodging price would be halved if there is twin sharing available.
• The food costs on average are charged INR 15K per month.
• The travelling between residence and the university, to and from, costs around INR 300 per day.

IIM Sirmaur Post Graduate Programme for Executives on Leadership in Smart Manufacturing (PGPEX-LSM) Fees

This IIM Sirmaur PGPEX-LSM is meant to create students into management leaders in the manufacturing technology industry under the mentorship of two prime institutes that are IIM Sirmaur from India which equips the student with management skills and knowledge and RWTH Aachen’s(Germany) manufacturing prowess. This IIM Sirmaur PGPEX-LSM programme contributes towards the betterment of India’s manufacturing prowess that is derived from the German institution’s background residing in Germany’s manufacturing prowess.

This two-year IIM Sirmaur Executive MBA program is a hybrid programme that deals with management and its functional areas and is specially designed for mid and senior-level working executives who want to upgrade their current skills and take up higher managerial roles that involve a higher range of added responsibilities and critical decision-making.

The student gets to study the domains of management with in-depth understanding such as human resources, strategy, finance, marketing and operations. • Stipend
  • Receive a stipend of INR 30K per month during the first and second year.
  • After clearing the Comprehensive Qualifying Examination (CQE), the stipend will be increased to INR 35K per month till the end of the fourth year.
  • The HRA (House Rent Allowance) of INR 5K is provided.
  • If the student is extending his/her year then the receiving of the stipend with the concurrence of the TAC and DPR Committee can only be renewed two times every six months till the end of the fifth year.
• Contingency Grant
  • A contingency grant of INR 30K per year is provided.
  • It is given on a reimbursement basis with verification of the expense receipts.
  • Provided in the first four years of the program.
  • Covers conference expenses, data collection expenses, databases, books, software, and hardware.
• Conference Grant
  • For students from the second year onwards.
  • Must be recommended by a faculty member who is the student’s mentor before TAC formation or the TAC Chairperson’s recommendation after TAC formation. Based on these recommendations, it must be approved by the Chairperson of DPR.
  • For attending the national conference to present their papers, the student will receive a conference grant of INR 60K.
  • The student will be given the opportunity to attend two international conferences with a grant of up to INR 2.5 Lakhs

IIM Sirmaur Ph.D Programme (AICTE-QIP)  Financial Support

Every year, to upgrade and empower the faculty’s knowledge, skills and teaching capabilities, the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) is held under the aegis of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) that provides Master’s and Ph.D programs. This Ph.D program will take 25 sponsored participants to pursue a 3-year Ph.D program with a scholarship provided by AICTE. The scholarship provided is given in the following points-

• The scholarship is INR 15K per month.
• The annual contingency is INR 15K.
