About Bharathiar University Distance Education
The Bharathiar University is a state university situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and was established in 1982. Bharathiar University also offers distance education under its dedicated department called Bharathiar University, School of Distance Education (BU-SDE). Bharathiar University School of Distance Education was named after the legendary Tamil poet Subramanya Bharathiar.
Bharathiar University Distance Education is approved by University Grant Commission and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with an ‘A++’ Grade. The School of Distance Education was established in 1991. The Bharathiar University is a well-known university in the southern region of India and has a rich heritage, culture, and recognition.

Karunanidhi (current chief minister of Tamil Nadu), and Dr, APJ Abdul Kalam (the former president of India). The Bharathiar University Distance Education has multiple courses and each program has its specialization, but as per the slogan of the university “educate to raise” the university has maintained the fee structure of every program in such a way that it becomes affordable and budget friendly for the students and working professionals. The university does not provide any such financial assistance to the students but there are a few scholarships available for which students can apply while checking their eligibility.

Bharathiar University Distance Education Admission Process
To get enrolled in Distance Education at Bharathiar University, students are required to go through each step thoroughly written below:
Step 1- Students are required to visit the official website of the university and register themselves.
Step 2- After registration, students must select their course and fill in their preliminary data.
Step 3- After filling in preliminary data students will receive an OTP, on their registered email or mobile number.
Step 4- Students to fill out the application form after entering the OTP.
Step 5- Students have to fill in their educational qualification, address, and personnel details accurately.
Step 6-After filling in the details students have to attach the required documents along with the application form.
Step 7- After previewing the application form students can submit their application.
Step 8- While submitting the form, students have to pay the registration fee along with it, which can be paid through (GPAY, PayTM, UPI, Net banking, Credit/Debit (ATM) card, etc.
Step 9- After paying the registration fee, the student will receive a confirmation SMS or mail on the registered mobile number.
Things to remember while enrolling at Bharatiar University Distance Education:
- - Go through the instructions and check your eligibility for the preferred course.
- - Scan all your documents and make sure every document has it size of less than 1 Mb.
- - After submitting the application form students have to pay the course fee within a week, or else their application will be rejected automatically.
- - The passport-size image should be scanned and must be in a JPG file within the size of 20 – 50 KB.

When I was about to enroll myself at Bharathiar University I was sure and confident about my preferred course. Initially, I was enrolling myself in B. Sc. (Computer Science) but when I came to know about the hundreds of courses offered at the university I was confused, but the faculty of the university is very supportive and guided me, and counseled me and at the end, I enrolled myself in B. Sc. (Information Technology).
