About Kashmir University Distance Education

Kashmir University is one of the oldest universities of Jammu and Kashmir established in 1948. The university is situated at Hazratbal in Srinagar, and its directorate of distance education was established in 1976.

The university established the directorate of distance education with an aim to impart education and knowledge even in that stratum of the society where education is scant.

The university offers different courses from both UG & PG degrees that are provided to candidates from distance learning mode, and also provides different activities to inculcate a deep understanding of subjects.
