NALSAR University of Law Distance Education

NALSAR University of Law was established in 1998 by act number 34 which gives the university the right to offer education and promote quality searches in the area of law and subjects allied to it in regular and distance modes of learning across the nation. The university is situated in Shameerpet, Medchal District, Hyderabad.

The examination pattern followed by the NALSAR University of Law Distance Education programs is the most commonly opted examination pattern which includes two major components: internal assessment and end-term examination. 

The internal assessment carries 30 marks and they are evaluated on the practical understanding of an individual through Assignment(s), Project, and case study whereas the end-term examination is of 70 marks which is conducted to evaluate the overall theoretical understanding of a student throughout the semester. 

Notes:

• Students who are enrolled in the postgraduate program will have an internal assessment of 30 marks and an end-term examination of 70 marks.
• Students enrolled in a one-year advanced diploma will have an annual examination of 100 marks.
• Post-graduation students are required to submit a Dissertation that carries 200 marks, and these marks are divided into two parts: a written report of 150 marks, and a Viva-Voce Examination: of 50 Marks.
